A Specialised Program to maximise your child's future athletic self!

Childhood and adolescence offers specific short periods of accelerated learning, where future athletic ability can be maximised as critical speed development occurs.

Foundation of Speed offers your child, faster movement patterns to develop speed coordination skills for use later in their athletic development.
Essential muscular coordination and development in children required for optimal adult speed and power.

8 week Foundation of Speed Program includes:

SPEED PROFILING:
• One x 60 min session
Please refer to The Speed Profiling Program Tab.

8 WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM:
• Two x 50 min per week sessions with our Speed Technik Coach.

• Instructed use of 1080 Sprint for appropriate resisted, assisted and overspeed sessions.

• Speed specific and developmental coordination drills.
Training Sessions:
50 minutes

Speed Profiling Session:
60 minutes
Sessions by appointment, within the Perth Metro area.
Please enquire about our Regional opportunities.
Fresh legs, water and sun protection, running spikes or appropriate footwear for speed work.
**Parent or Guardian required to sign in/ out of all sessions.**

-Speed Technik Coaches have Working with Children Clearance.

1080 Sprint Capabilities:

• Continuous resistance range: 1-15 kg

• Maximum resistance in both directions: < 30kg, during maximum 10s and < 45 kg during 3s

• Using a pulley max resistance can be doubled at half maximum speed

• Maximum speed 14 m/s

• Length of line 90m

• Recorded frequency of force, speed and power: 333 samples per second

• Tablet with touch screen interface or laptop
